House, now hotel. Probably early-mid C18. Painted rough render
with painted ashlar plinth and ashlar dressings; roof of
composition tiles with ashlar gable coping and kneelers. 3
storeys; 3-window range. C19 door of 3-over-3 panels in stone
surround of architrave with triglyph frieze and bracketed
cornice. Elliptical vehicle arch at left; C19 canted bay
window at right with 4-pane sashes, angle colonnettes and
prominent cornice. Sashes with glazing bars on upper floors,
12-pane on first and 9-pane on second, have painted ashlar
architraves. Steeply-pitched roof has renewed gable copings on
narrow moulded kneelers; large end chimneys, of red brick at
left and yellow brick at right. INTERIOR: not inspected.
