GV II

3 houses, now 4. Late C15/C16, much altered. Timber-framed,
plastered and whitewashed with added brick. Plain tile gabled
roofs. Street elevation similar to Wealden house type with
recessed centre bay flanked right and left by first-floor
jettied elements. Roof-line of No.26 lower than remainder.
No.22 refaced with C19 brick and entered through a part-glazed
late C19 door. One large 2/2 sash either side, C19. Jettied
first floor clad in fish-scale tile hanging. Two 2-light
casements. Slated outshut to rear. No.24 with a plank door and
a late C19 glazed panel door. One 2/2 sash to left and a
smaller 2-light casement to first floor. Internal gable-end
stack to north. Brick rear cross wing with pantiled roof.
No.26 entered through a late C19 glazed panel door. To its
left a late C20 top-hung casement. Jettied first floor lit
through one single-light casement. Internal gable-end stack to
south. Timber-framed cross wing to rear.
