ST 40 NW BROADWINDSOR NETHERHAY

(formerly listed as
Netherhay Farmhouse.)

Detached Farmhouse. Dated 1683. Dressed stone walls with continuous
plinth. Roman-tile roof with stone gable-copings. 2 brick stacks at
left and right hand gables. 2 storeys and attics. 4 windows, 3- and
4-light stone mullions (ovolos) with separate labels. Cast-iron case-
ments with lead lights. Front doorway, right of centre, with stone-
moulded jambs, depressed-arch in a square head and recessed spandrels.
Plank door with strap-hinges, C20. Rear staircase-well, with gable
over. Attic windows to left hand gable, with separate labels over.
Interior: Long rear corridor, with flagstones. Stone fireplace at
first floor, with Tudor arch and moulded jambs, recess spandrels.
