Single Cottage, attached to former smithy. c. C17 core, C18 ceiling, C20
refenestration. Lias rubble walls. Pantile roof with stone gable-copings.
Brick stacks at left and right gables. 1 1/2 storeys. 3 windows, 2- and 3-
light casements, with wooden cills and lintels, C20. Front door at centre,
wood with 2 glass lights, C20. Interior: roof of jointed-cruck construction
much altered. One chamfered purlin survives. Ceiling beam, ground floor,
with slight chamfer and filleted stops, c. early C18. Half-spiral stair
in beside fireplace.
Attached former smithy at left hand. Lias rubble walls. Slate roof.
Present garage entrance at left hand. One 2-light iron casement with
glazing-bars.
