11/12 Hoop Cottage

House. C17 or earlier; C18 extension on E. One and a half and
2 storeys, timberframed, plastered, facing S. Single storey elm
weatherboarded addition at W with gabled tiled roof. Main part
has a gabled thatched roof and 3 small early C18 windows to
front. Formerly external E gable chimney has brick oven on flint
foundations projecting at rear under tiled roof, ?C18 2 storeys E
addition in line is timberframed and plastered with a higher red
tiled gabled roof. This appears to have had an internal E gable
chimney now capped off. Entrance is now into this addition,
which has modern casement windows.
