Row of Estate Cottages. Later C19. Rubble stone walls with stone
quoins. Slate roof with tile cresting and projecting eaves. Total of 5
brick stacks at ridges. 1 1/2 storeys. c8 windows in total, 2- and 3-light
wooden casements with glazing-bars with segmental stone heads and stone cills
6 gabled dormers, large, with casements and slate-hung tympana. Front
doors: nos 4 and 5 plank, no 6 wooden with glass panes, no 7 plank with
top lights, no 8 plank, all C19 or C20. Nos 4, 5 and 6 have their front
wall further forward, and signs of old masonry. Interior: no 7 has C16
plank-and-muntin partition in the hall. Front room, with complete fielded-
panelling, dado-rail, dado and dentil-cornice over.
