On a moated site. Probably early C17 farmhouse of three bays,
almost completely rebuilt in late C17. At about the same time
the service wing to the north was added. Red brick incor-
porating some timber framing from original house on site.
C19 gault brick casing and buttressing to north wall of south
range. Plain tiled roofs with large, red brick stack at
junction of north and south ranges. Band between two storeys of
south range. Four C19 recessed hung sashes with glazing bars.
Entry in later gabled porch. North range of two storeys and
attics and two room plan. One gabled dormer. Two windows to
each storey. Interior. Some timber framing visible in south
range. Large inglenook fireplace to north range with abutting
smaller fireplace to east room of south range.
