Estate cottage. Circa 1840 with late C19 or early C20 wing and mid C20
exterior. Slate rubble partly slate-hung on ground floor left and slate
hung left hand side. Asbestos slate roof with gabled ends slate hung stack
on left hand gable end.
Plan. originally a 2-room plan cottage with a central entrance. The room
to the right is unheated and the left hand room has a gable end stack. In
the late C19 or early C20 a wing was added behind the left hand room with a
gable end stack and an integral outshut in the angle. In circa 1950 the
outshut was heightened to 2 storeys.
Exterior: 2 storeys. 2 window range. C19 2-light casements with glazing
bars, cambered red brick arches and slate cills. Central doorway with a
C19 panelled door and a C19 open-fronted gabled porch with a slate roof.
