Early C19 town house. Three storeys and basement. Four windows. Hipped slate
roof. Red brick with oversailing brick cornice and blocking course. Plain stucco
band at 1st floor level. Gauged flat brick arches to recessed sash windows with
glazing bars; 1st floor windows in arched recesses. Tuscan portico with attached
columns; panelled reveals; rectangular patterned fanlight; raised and fielded
panelled door approached by step. Cast iron railings with urn finials to standards.
On a wall in a cupboard in a former ground floor back pantry is the date "John Hicks
1722" and "Fosdich 1822".
