Pair of houses in terrace. Early C18. Red brick and yellow
brick. Pantiled roof. 2 storeys and dormer attic, each house
of 2 bays. Doors to right (No.3) and left (No.5) of elevation.
Panelled door to 3 under small open pediment. Late C20 glazed
door to 5 set within panelled reveals. 2 acanthus consoles
support its flat hood. One renewed plate glass sash to ground
floor of each house, with exposed boxes. In centre is a
blocked opening under a segmental arch. Platband at first
floor. 2 first-floor sashes as before. Gabled roof with 2
gabled dormers lit through casements. Large central ridge
stack of yellow brick with red brick dressings. East
gable-head has kneelers, rebuilt late C20. Marks of former
doors and windows to both floors of facade indicate that
original disposition was different.
