House, C17-18 altered C19. Stone, Slate roof with chimneys flanking and
to right of centre, 3 gabled dormers with shaped bargeboards.
2 storeys and attic, S.E. front has 5 bays of sash windows with C19 glazing
pattern, central door in modern porch, small circular window to 1st floor
right of centre. 2 storey wing to right with tower roof, 1 bay, hipped
roof bay window to left hand gablewall.
House and barns stand within extensive castle earthworks a Scheduled
Ancient Monument.
