of Lavendon Grange

Forecourt piers and retaining wall with steps in front of S, elevation. Cl8,
stone. Low retaining wall with 5 central steps and some old carved stones
incorporated. Tall square ashlar stone pier at each end with moulded cornices
and urns. Wall returns for short distance, terminated each side by smaller
pier, of rubble stone with chamfered tops and urns. Central steps are on the
axis between the central gable of Lavendon Grange and the Stable Block (q.v.)
