House, now shop, surgery and office. Late C17; early and mid C19 atlerations.
Colourwashed limestone rubble to rear; front and right side walls of rendered
timber framing. Hipped stone slate roof; end stack of stone finished in brick;
rear internal stack of C18 brick. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys and attic;
5-window range. 3 mid C19 horned sashes and 2 blocked windows, with moulded wood
architraves, above C20 shop fronts. Central c.1830 six-panelled door: stone
steps flanked by stick balusters with turned finials to newel posts. Two hipped
roof dormers with C20 casements. Right side wall: C20 shop front; 4-window range
of 6-pane sashes in moulded wood architraves; 2 similar dormers. Interior:
chamfered and cased beams; dragon beam to right; early C19 dog-leg with winders
staircase, with early C18 turned balusters at attic level.
