Former Inn, empty at time of survey (3/7/84). Dated "Anno Domini
1637" over fireplace in ground floor on gable end. Rubblestone,
stone slate roof, 2 groups of diagonally set stone stacks. 'L'
shape with 2-storey porch in south east corner, and C19 stable wing
to south. 2 storeys and attic in gable. 3 windows, including
porch, windows to main front are later, probably C20, 3-light stone
mullions with leading and hood mould. There are original stone
mullion windows on the gable to street, in porch, and at the rear
including 2-light arched window on the rear of the north wing.
Inside porch the original entry is now blocked and door is now to
the right. Stable block is rubblestone with double Roman tile
roof, 3-windows, single brick ridge stack. Additional small
building in angle at north east, with slate roof.
