Guest house. Possibly C17 with mid-C18 alterations. Squared limestone
with stone slate roof. Two storeys with attic. String course. To the
left of the door are two sashed windows. The left-hand one has a surround
with edge roll-moulding. The right-hand one is within a blocked doorway.
To the right of the door are two sashed windows separated by a flat-faced
mullion. On the first floor are two windows with plain reveals. Two
attic dormers. Door has chamfered surround under early C20 open timber
porch. Gables coped, with chimneys which have cyma cornices. Interior:
right-hand room has chamfered and stopped spine beam and a stone inglenook
with bressummer. The rear wall is of timber-framing of light scantling
in square panels. The left-hand room has a chamfered spine beam. On the
first floor more light timber-framing is exposed in a rear wall. The
attic rooms have exposed purlins.
