SK 80 NW BRAUNSTON HIGH STREET (East side)

House, dated 1803. Thinly coursed rubble with limestone dressings; angle
quoins, etc. and stone tiled roof. 2 storeyed, 4 bays, though left hand bay
is slightly later addition and is slightly recessed, with moulded string
course and big 3-light casement windows with thin glazing bars and stone
heads. The other 3 bays have windows similar to those of this end bay though
with flat timber lintels. Central door with a slight stone hood and moulded
lintel and datestone above, with initials H over L.E. Over this central
bay is a vestigial, and very tiny pediment. Brick axial stacks.
