6/80 The Blue Bell Inn

Public house. Early C17 with Cl9 and C20 alterations. Mud and
stud, partly underbuilt in painted brick. Steeply pitched
pantile roof, possibly over thatch, single axial brick stack.
Lobby entry plan. Single storey plus attics, 6 bay front, off-
centre planked double doors with to left single and to right 3
C20 glazing bar lights, with beyond a planked door. In the roof
a single raking dormer with C20 light and rendered cheeks.
Interior retains jowelled posts, straight braces, wall plate, mid
rail, chamfered beams.
