9/65 Hill View and Fernley

Two cottages in formerly one house (attached to east). c.1810. Ashlar lias
stone walls, with a stone plat band dividing the storeys. Thatch roof with
gable ends and stone gable copings with level kneelers. Two C20 brick stacks
at left and right hand gables. 2 storeys. 3 windows, sashes with glazing bars
at right, C20 wooden casements at left. Stone cills and projecting keys to all
windows. 2 front doors, one at centre (original position), wooden C20; one
immediately right of centre, wooden early C20. Simple porch canopy oven carried
on light posts.
