3/197 Rose Cottage

GV II

Detached Cottage. Early C18. Rubble stone walls. Steep thatch
roof. Brick stack at west gable. 1½ storeys. 2 windows, 2-light
wooden casements on south wall, without glazing-bars. Plank door,
right of centre, very low with oak frame. In north wall, the
windows have glazing-bars Interior: blocked, open fireplace with
bread oven in right hand corner. Roughly-chamfered ceiling-beams.
