6/100 Hell Farmhouse

Farmhouse, c 1700. Coursed lias stone walls and chert rubble walls. Thatch
roof with gabled and hipped ends. One renewed brick stack at former left hand
gable. One at former right hand rear gable. Originally a very short cross-
wing. 2 storeys. 4 windows, 2-light wooden casements and glazing bars.
Wooden cills and lintels. Front door towards left hand end, wood with small
top lights, C20. Stone porch with pitched gable roof and concrete tiles. Rear
wing has stone walls under a slate roof. C20 brick stack at west gable wall.
Interior: 2 large open fireplaces with straight-chamfered wooden lintels over.
