Pair of terrace houses. c.1677 with early C.19 alteration and No. 29
rebuilt to match No. 27. Brown brick, stuccoed ground floor. 4 storeys
and basements. Each 3 windows wide. Doorways to right semicircular
arched, panelled doors and patterned fanlights. Recessed sash windows
under gauged flat arches except on 1st floor where they are segmental
arched. Stone cornice over 2nd floor; parapet with coping. The interior
of No. 27 retains panelling including closet wing and closed string dog leg
staircase with turned balusters etc.
