Circa 1840. Three storeys grey brick with red dressings. Parapet and
cornice of projecting red stretchers with grey headers on dentils below.
Red brick bands between storeys. Upper storeys have superimposed bay
windows and blind windows in centre. Bay windows are of three lights,
sash, later glazing bars, plain strips, weather-boarded aprons with
saw tooth edges to the planks, and frieze and cornices also with saw
tooth decoration. On the ground floor to the right is an earlier
bay window of three lights, sash, no glazing bars, fluted pilaster
strips with cornice projecting to sides on shaped brackets a panelled
apron. The left hand window is recessed, sash, its glazing bars intact,
with a block sill and set in a plain rendered surround. The main
entrance is slightly off the central axis and has two steps leading
up to a panelled and glazed door with semi circular fanlight, set
in a moulded case. To the right a plank side door, plain surround with
chamfered upper edge.
