Sawmill and the Cottage

- II

This building formerly comprised two cottages and the saw-mill. The whole building
has been restored and the saw-mill converted into three garages in the centre of
the block and a third cottage to the north. Late C19. One long building with
tiled roof with a hip and pentice at south end. Owing to the slopeof the ground,
the north end (one house and three garages) is of one storey. The house has three
windows and is faced with stone rubble with red brick dressings. The garages have
an open front on the east side which displays the barn-like roof inside. The two
houses at the south end are of two storeys, and seven windows. Ground floor stone
rubble with red brick dressings and quoins, above faced with tarred weather-boarding.
Modern casement windows.
