Dates from middle ages. Exposed timber frame. Irregular plan with cross-wing
in middle. Remains of medieval cruck-truss but the rest of the building
is C17. Two storeys with cellars and attics. Diagonal brick chimneys.
Tile roof. Interior, re-set C17 panelling. RCHM volume II, page 215.

Lower Poswick House and barn to north-west and wall to south-west form
a group.
