The inn comprises an C18 or early C19 block with a later C19 wing extending
to the west. The older block was refronted when the wing was built. Red
brick with yellow brick quoins and dressings. Two storeys. The older block
has a parapet and 2 window range, horizontal sliding sashes with glazing
bars. The C19 wing has double-hung sashes, mainly with glazing bars. Roofs
tiled, the older block has a central chimney stack.
