House, now commercial premises. C17 with C18 front over
timber-framing. Timber-framed, stucco front. Old tiled gambrel
roof, with 3 box dormers with sashes, brick chimneys. 2
storeys and attics, first floor has 4 flush set sash windows
with exposed boxes and small-paned glazing. Ground floor has
central door, with architrave surround, beneath pedimented
hood raised on cut profiled console brackets. Left and right
are 2 modern wide windows with glazing bars. Secondary door at
left with flat hood raised on cut profiled console brackets.
At right is carriageway, with twin battened doors, one with
wicket, forming original access to No.45, Chadwell Lodge (qv).
Left hand side and left rear outshoot with plastered walls and
pantiled roofs.
