II

Cottage. C16, clad in C19. Timber-framed clad in red brick.
Box frame exposed with plaster infill at west end; straight
wind-braces and queen-post roof truss. Swithland slate roof to
rear, tiled to front. Two storeys with stack in front of ridge
in centre and one on front slope to right. Brick eaves
cornice. Irregular fenestration of two windows on first floor
and two below them on ground floor, all sliding sashes in
segment-headed openings. Boarded door in segment-headed
doorway to right. Interior not inspected but likely to be of
interest.
