House, now 2 houses. Early C18 front to earlier core. Painted
brick to timber-frame; Welsh slate roof; brick end stack and
stack to rear. 2-storeys and cellar; 3-window range: 6/6
sashes with broad glazing bars and old panes, in broad moulded
cases; boarded soffit to eaves. Entrance to No.5, centre left:
C20, 6-panel door in chamfered door case, with timber lintel;
flanked by C18, 6/6 sashes. To right, blocked opening under
soldier arch, and C18 plank door, to passage to No.6, under
simple flat hood on consoles; storey band over. Fire mark
No.1824
