Tanner House

II

House, now youth and community centre. Early C19. Flint with
gault brick dressings. Gault brick facade and rear elevations.
Slate roof. 2 storeys in 3 bays. Central double-leaf
3-panelled and fielded doors under a 4-panelled overlight.
Plain timber doorcase. One 8/8 sash right and left with gauged
skewback arches. 2 similar sashes above and in centre of first
floor is a double 4/4 sash. Hipped roof with stacks on north
and south roof slopes. INTERIOR: staircase with alternating
turned and stick balusters and a ramped and wreathed handrail.
