House, now public house. Mid C18, probably with earlier
origins, and C19 and C20 alterations. Painted rubble stone on
shallow plinth at front, with moulded timber eaves cornice,
and rebuilt brick stacks at ends and centre of pantile roof.
2-storeys-and-attic; 3-window front. 6-panel door recessed in
splayed opening, between replacement cross windows over raised
sillbands; similar windows with painted stone sills on first
floor. All windows have flat arches of voussoirs, and ground
floor windows louvred shutters. Gabled dormers in attic, with
2-light large-pane sliding sashes.
