Mid C18, altered. Formerly part of the Sugar Loaf Inn (see also No 17 adjoining).
Three storeys of which the top storey is an early C19 addition over the end 3 bays.
Five windows. Hipped tile roof. Multi-coloured stock brick. Stone dentil cornice.
Panelled parapet. Gauged flat brick arches to recessed sash windows; end 3 bays
with 1st floor windows lowered. Modern shopfront. Early C19 doorcase with reeded
pilasters carrying entablature with projecting cornice; ½ glazed door.
