Farmhouse, now house. C17, remodelled c.1740 with early C19 alterations. Coursed
limestone rubble; gabled concrete tile roof; stone external end stacks finished
in C20 brick. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. C20 rendered
porch with early C19 six-panelled door. Keyed raised stone architraves to mid
C18 ten-pane ground-floor sashes with thick glazing bars, early C19 six-pane
first-floor sash and C20 windows in gabled dormers. Rear: central stair-turret.
Mid C19 rear left wing with brick dressings, C20 plain tile roof and brick end
stack; outshut and 6-panelled door to left. Interior: chamfered beams and mid
C18 panelled doors. Fine mid C18 panelled room with early C19 marble fireplace
to right. Central room has C17 and mid C18 panelling and mid C18 corner
cupboard. Fine mid C18 open-well staircase with turned balusters. First floor
noted as having panelled rooms.
