Farmhouse. Late C17 wing to rear left; front range built c.1753 (date plaque
removed) and early C19 range to rear. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone
slate roof; stone end stacks, and large late C17 stone end stack to rear left
wing. U-plan with rear wings. 2 storeys and attic; symmetrical 5-window range.
Keyed stone lintels over late C19 four-panelled door with overlight and early
C19 six-pane sashes; 2 gabled roof dormers. Rear: C19 outshut with Welsh slate
roof; late C17 wing of one storey and attic to left; early C19 one-storey wing
to right. Interior: front range has mid C18 chamfered beams; early C19 panelled
doors and shutters, stone-flagged floor and early C19 quarter-turn stairs with
winders set in mid C18 frame; first floor has mid C19 fireplaces and grates;
5-bay collar-truss roof with butt purlins. Late C17 rear left wing has chamfered
beams, and winder stairs and C18 bread oven adjoining mid C18 open fireplace
with wood bressumer; 3-bay collar-truss roof with butt purlins and curved feet
to principle rafters.
