ST 40 SW BROADWINDSOR HIGH STREET, WEST SIDE

4/48 Store-House, 15 metres
south-east of the lodge

GV II

Malthouse, now used as a store-house. Early C19. Dressed stone
walls on a chert rubble base. Hipped Roman tile roof, with parallel
ridges. 2 storeys. 4 windows, 3-light wooden casements with
segmental stone arch-heads to ground floor, and wooden lintels to
first floor. Entrance at centre with former loft doors over. Plank
door with frosted glass. Interior: Roof, King-post trusses with
queen-struts, C19. Otherwise an open shell. Included for Group
Value.
