GV II

Hotel: late Cl6 with C18 additions and subsequent alterations. Some
timber framing, the larger part in washed brick, Kerridge stone-slate
roof and stone ridge. 3 brick chimneys. Original portion is of
rectangular H-plan of 2-storeys and 4 bays. End bays are gabled, one
to right with timber herringboning. Windows now a mixture of
casements with glazing bars, some with brick relieving arches. Left
end bay has an added hood, 2 bays to left later addition with
casements with glazing bars and a Georgian style bow window.
