House formerly a lodge, and gate piers. Early C19, mid C19. Coursed
limestone rubble with freestone dressings. Welsh slated roofs. One storey
and attic with gable to street and main entrance in symmetrical south facade.
Freestone porch with four-centred arch in a square head with original panelled
inner door. Two ground floor ovolo moulded mullioned and transomed casement
windows; two facade dormers. Pierced and carved barge boards to gables.
Corbelled end stack to west with two octagonal shafts each with embattled
caps, similar eastern stack behind ridge. Eccentric Gothic octagonal turret
to rear, embattled with conical stone cap and crocketted finial. Rusticated
gate piers with moulded bases and caps surmounted with ball finials.
