Late C18/early C19. Red brick with grey headers and slate roof. Slate hung north end wall. Tiled roof. 3 storeys but 2 storeys at rear with steeply pitched roof carried down. 2 windows, barred sashes in flush frames. Garage doors in style with arched lights.

J R Hill, Stanford House (No 12), Nos 1 to 9 (consec) and Reedley House (a building of local interest) form an important group at this enterance to the town. The group is also associated with the listed buildings on Priestland Place and Highfield.
