GREAT HORKESLEY THE CAUSEWAY

C16 cottage. One storey with attics, timber framed and plastered. End gables
weatherboarded, roof ridged and thatched. Two pairs of casement windows on ground
storey and matching casements in each gable peak. Hipped and slate clad addition
at south end. Central red brick chimney stack with modern top. Two doors with
hood on carved brackets one at each front cornerpost. Top plates protrude,
of flat section.
