Early C19. Two storeys, rough rendered with slate roof. Three windows, hung sashes with glazing bars. Full-height angular bay with sash windows to each side of door with hood. Half-glazed door to side elevation of two windows, columned porch with slightly segmental hood. Three window elevation to road with canted bay to ground floor. No 178A has three windows above two, wood mullions and transoms.
