Early C19. Two storeys, rough rendered with slate roof. Three windows, hung
sashes with glazing bars. Full-height angular bay with sash windows to each
side of door with hood. Half-glazed door to side elevation of 2 windows, columned
porch with slightly segmental hood. Three-window elevation to road with canted
bay to ground floor. No 178A has 3 windows above 2, wood mullions and transoms.
