House, perhaps originally one with No 156 (q.v.) adjacent. Mid-late C18
front in ashlar with hipped Cotswold stone roof. Flat string for cornice,
parapet. 3 storeys; 1 window, glazing-bar sashes; on 1st floor a wide
angled bay with dentil cornice; on ground floor a rectangular bay with 2
pairs of glazing-bar Yorkshire sashes to front, dentilled cornice extends
to right as porch to 6-panel door with traceried transom lights. To rear,
rubble, hipped roof, brinks out from building line as if a former- solar
wing to hall house on site of present No 156 (q.v.).
