C15 hall house, with gabled crosswings. Timber framed and plastered with red
plain tile roof, part gambrelled. Crosswings originally jettied, now underbuilt.
1:3 window range modern casements. Modern porch. Early C19 reeded surround
with patera to entrance doorway. Some exposed framing on south end. North
wing is C15, and there is a mid C16 inserted chimney stack and first floor to
hall. Remains of C16 newel stair. South wing is early C17, with original framed
side purlin roof. (RCHM 3).
