C18. Market "Established 1716". 3 storeys with a narrow frontage. Stuccoed
front. Hipped tiled roof. Parapet and modillion cornice. 3 very narrow sashes
on the 2nd floor with glazing bars missing from ther lower halves. One similar
window on the 1st floor and an unusual large curved bay window of 6 lights
with their heads narrowing to a point to give the effect of a fanlight with
glazing bars intact. Balustraded parapet over the bay. Curved shop window
but with modern plate glass in it. Doorcase with pilasters and rectangular
fanlight.
