Almshouses. Dated 1912. Coursed rubble, Cotswold stone roof.
Symmetrical E-plan front in Cotswold style. Mullion windows with drips,
gables with kneelers and finials. 4 pairs of diagonal shafted chimneys
with diamond panels in friezes. Single storey; 5 bays; 3 gables, the
outer ones wider with 4-light transomed windows, central one a frontal
porch, enter ones with porches to set-backs at sides, moulded Tudor-arch
doorways, Voyseyesque strap-hinges to plank-and-muntin doors. On soffit
of central doorway arch is inscribed "Prices Almshouses 1912."
