Stables. Probably C18 - early C19. Rubble to south end, timber-framed to
north end,- brick infill, corrugated iron and slate roof. One storey and
loft. Three bays aligned roughly north/south. Framing: timber-frame on
rubble plinth about 3 feet high; thin scantling, mostly 3 panels from
cill to plate, tension braces from centre to plate. Roof: 2 rows of
purlins, board ridge. West elevation: 2 square windows to right, ledged
double door to left hand side, ledged stable door to centre right, central
ledged loft door. South gable has tallet stairs. Notable feature of front
is the large yoke of ox and horse shoes nailed decoratively to it. Interior:
interrupted tie-beam trusses with raking V-struts.
