House, or large cottage including a former barn to south. Early C18,
remodelled mid-C19. Coursed rubble with Cotswold stone roof. Faces East
(garden) with two 2-storey gables with architraves and keys to glazing-bar
sash windows, coped verges and finials and a large window to south with
marginal glazing. To road; coped verges to left, 2 ashlar chimneys, 1
storey and attic, 2 gabled half-dormers to left and centre, all windows
are glazing-bar sashes, glazed door between. The house extends uphill to
right into a converted barn - 3 ashlar chimneys, ivy-clad road front with
a C20 bulls-eye window at low level and only one slit-vent, to garden 2
storeys and attic with gabled dormer. The 2 parts are linked by a lobby
with a 6-panel door (raised and fielded) with bracketed flat hood;
decorative cast-iron lamp-bracket to left of it. Interior not inspected.
