Fountain. 1847-48, contemporary with the work on the South Terrace (q.v.)
by Sir Charles Barry and Nesfield for the 3rd Earl of Harewood. Basin of
Rousham Hill stone (Oxfordshire), carved freestone sculpture. Octagonal with
raised moulded edging, finely-coursed stone basin with central drum supporting
sculpture of 3 dolphins their tails surrounding taller shell.
