SP53NE HINTON-IN-THE-HEDGES THE GREEN

GV II

Cottage. C17-18. Uncoursed limestone rubble. Thatched roof brick stacks.
2 storeys. 2 bays. Windows with original wood lintels and C20 casements on
both floors. Extension to left, also C17-18, former outhouse now part of
dwelling has C20 doorway in right bay and timber porch with thatched roof. To
left, one light casement window with wood lintel and similar 2 light window.
Large semi-circular bread oven with thatched roof on left side. Interior:
Raised cruck construction and original stud partitions.
