Terrace of 5 houses. 1847. Built by Jabez Scholes, a local stonemason. 3 storeys and basement stuccoed. Slate roof. 2 sashes each with some glazing bars intact 1st floor wooden verandah, except to No. 8. Rusticated ground floors and round-headed doorcases. Each house has a front cellar under the pavement, the roof of which consists of massive pavement slabs contemporary with the terrace. There are railings to the areas and to the entrance and area steps. The pavement slab roofs are an unusual and rare survival.
Nos 2 to 14 (even) form a group.
