Late C18 or early C19 row, each 3 storeys, 2 windows. Nos 12-16 also have basements.
Stock brick with stone-coped parapet. Gauged flat brick arches to sash windows
with glazing bars in stucco-lined reveals. Ground floor of Nos 12 and 14 round
headed windows in round arched recesses. No 14 has 5-panel door with fluted pilasters,
cornice head and interlaced bars to fanlight. No 16 has half-glazed door with
similar surround but plain fanlight; and a mid C19 shop front inserted. No 18
has mid-late C19 shop front. No 20 has lost its windows and has altered late C19
shop front. Nos 12-16 have wrought iron handrails to doorsteps and cast iron area
railings.

Nos 12 to 20 (even) and Nos 24 to 56 (even) form a group.
