Early C19 terrace, each 3 storeys and basement, 3 windows. Stock brick with stone
1st floor cill band, cornice band and stone-coped parapet. Gauged flat brick arches
to late C19 sash windows in stucco-lined reveals. Nos 228 and 230 have modern
steps to paired doors of 6 and 4 panels in panelled reveal with fluted head and
fanlights in narrow architraves; the whole framed in a stucco entablature surround.
No 228 has patterned radial fanlight. No 232 has modern steps to door of 5 panels
with panelled pilasters, side lights and fluted head. Parapet and cornice above
door section, the whole included in a wide recess under round gauged brick arch.

Nos 224 to 232 (even) form a group.
